William Perry made a quick stop to buy a $10 Bigger Spin ticket from a grocery store in Kittrell, near Raleigh, NC. When he got home and scratched off the ticket, he’d won a $200,000 prize.

Perry told the North Carolina Education Lottery officials he and his wife were in such shock, that they had to pinch themselves to make sure it was real. Once they confirmed it, all they could do was scream and jump up and down.

Not long after their shock, they went to the lottery headquarters to pick up the prize. According to lottery officials, after taxes, the couple took home $142,023.

Perry works as a shop lead. He says he going to put most of his money in a money market account and save some to give to his children and grandchildren.
