It reopened in a new location within the hotel in September 2020, this time openly toting its kosher credentials. Dubai’s Jewish community has been increasingly visible after the United Arab Emirates normalized relations with Israel as part of last summer’s Abraham Accords. The deal spurred more formal economic cooperation between the countries, while more businesses in Dubai, including newly opened kosher restaurants, are catering to Jewish customers. This fine-dining restaurant offers dinner, dessert, and libations for all of its guests. The restaurant opened officially on May 9, 2022, with limited reservations during the first week. This is your chance to enjoy such foods including shrimp cocktail, lobster crab cakes, scallops, salmon, creme brûlée, and more. Drift on Lake Wylie also offers private dining and catering services for guests to enjoy. They can help provide various setups for large groups, small seated meals, cocktails with passed canapés, social shindigs, or corporate fetes.
Drift is located at 315-M Lanyard Ln. Belmont, NC. They are open Monday - Thursday from 4:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 4:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m., and on Sundays from 3:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. Enjoy a great day or night lakeside at Drift on Lake Wylie and enjoy a great view while eating great food.
