South Carolina’s Rock Hill Is Getting A New Entertainment Area
According to WCNC.com, an old textile mill is getting a major facelift in Rock Hill, and it’ll open its doors by the end of the year. It will have a restaurant, a brewery, several other businesses, and 37 luxury apartments.
CEO of the Sherbert Group Tara Sherbert said, “Rock Hill is literally on fire. There’s so much going on here. You walk and drive through the community, and there’s dirt flying everywhere. “There’s a lot of excitement in this community.”
The Power House was once a part of the Rock Hill Printing and Finishing Company, integrated within a booming textile industry in the early part of the 20th century. The mill closed in 1998. The developer said they are trying to keep the historic feature of the area while still building a modern facility.
