Mary J Blige’s “Real Love” Coming To Lifetime
Grammy Award Winner Mary J Blige is working with Lifetime to executive produce a movie inspired by her 1992 hit “Real Love”. The song was Blige’s first top 10 hit and was certified gold two months after its release. “I wrote Real Love based on my real life experiences and my fans connected to it in a deeply personal way. Its exciting to now use this song and my music to create a new story by way of film”, Blige said in a statement. The film is a romantic drama about a woman named Kendra, who goes off on her own for the first time to a college in upstate New York, determined to focus on her studies. The film is released under Mary’s production company, ‘Blue Butterfly’.
