Roy Cooper is Visiting Charlotte Today to Tour A New Station

If you are traveling today, be aware you might see some traffic. The governor of North Carolina, Roy Cooper is visiting the city today. He is coming to tour a new charging station.
The Governor of North Carolina and the Mayor of Charlotte will meet to discuss electric vehicle charging stations. In a press conference, the two leaders will highlight PoleVolt, a public-private partnership that uses streetlights to charge electric vehicles at the curbside for owners who do not have access to off-street parking or charging.
The press conference is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. at The Ritz at Washington Heights off Beatties Ford Road.
