No More Mask In Mecklenburg County & More
A new bill filed in the North Carolina General Assembly would give parents the right to opt-out of student mask mandates for their children. The Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s Office is hiring private security officers to help with the staffing shortage at the city jail. Mecklenburg County commissioners has voted to end mask mandate. Mask will no longer be required in most public spaces in the county beginning Feb.26. North Carolina tax filing is pushed back until the end of February. The department revenue announced its new target date to start processing returns is Feb.28.
