NBA Legend Chris Bosh Boycotting NFL Over Treatment Of Black Coaches
Former Miami Heat star Chris Bosh said he will no longer watch NFL games as long as there is no change in the number of black head coaches compared to white head coaches. This comes after ex Miami Dolphin coach Brian Flores and ex Houston Texans coach Culley losing their jobs despite admirable work on the field in 2021. In an Instagram post Bosh said,”Watching the way the NFL is treating Black coaches has me pissed off. Plain and simple. Until they fix this, I cannot keep spending my weekends supporting the league”.”I want to be able to watch the Super Bowl next to my kids, knowing they’ll see people who look like them on the field and the sidelines. I want them to know that the next great strategic mind might belong to a coach who isn’t necessarily white.
