At Least 6 HBCU’s Received Bomb Threats
For the second time in a month, at least six HBCU’s received bomb threats Monday morning. The campuses that received threats include Howard University, Bethune-Cookman University, Bowie State University, Southern University, Albany State University and Delaware State University. Prompting lockdowns and police investigations. On January 4th, Norfolk State University, Florida Memorial University, North Carolina Central University, Prairie View A&M University, the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff, Xavier University, and Howard University were targets of bomb threats. The FBI made a statement via email saying, “The FBI is aware of the series of bomb threats around the country and we are working with our law enforcement partners to address any potential threats, As always, we would like to remind members of the public that if they observe anything suspicious to report it to law enforcement immediately.”
