Big Issues Facing North Carolina College Students in 2022
During these past three years, I would not have been able to make it to college. I applaud all of you for attending school.
College students may face challenges in 2022. If student loans cannot be forgiven, many North Carolina college students may feel concerned about having to pay off debt after graduation. This also applies to college students across the United States. This is a big issue.
In addition, there is also a chance that the U.S. Supreme Court would overturn affirmative action in admitting college students, which could be a threat to students who previously could have been discriminated against. This is also a huge concern.
2022 also brings concern over sports eligibility with many states banning transgender women and girls from participating in female games. Along with all of this, the subject of critical race theory being taught has been up for debate in different states.
