Megan Thee Stallion Is Now a College Graduate, and President Biden Will be The Keynote Speaker At SC Graduation
Guess who is coming to South Carolina’s graduation? There is a lot of graduations happening right now! Even right here in our own back yard, The president of the United States Joe Biden will be the next keynote speaker for South Carolina State University on Dec. 17
“The South Carolina State University family is honored and grateful to host President Biden when he addresses our graduates as they set a course for their futures,” SC State Interim President Alexander Conyers said in a statement. “Our students will no doubt remember his words for the rest of their lives. This is indeed a privilege for all here at SC State.”
Also mega star and rapper Megan Thee Stallion is now a college graduate, crossing the stage at Texas Southern University on Saturday in cap and gown to receive her diploma with the rest of the student body.
The Grammy-winning rapper earned a bachelor of science degree in health administration, a goal she set to honor both her late mother and her late grandmother.
On Sunday, the 18th Congressional District of Texas named Stallion as the recipient of its Texas Hero Award.
Officials recognized Stallion for her work in the community during the COVID-19 pandemic when they say she provided gloves and masks throughout the district and to the Harris County Jail.
