Huge Shark Spotted Off The North Carolina Coast
The weather and water are getting cooler. And kids are returning to school so beach vacations aren’t numerous. Which is good news considering a shark weighing nearly 400-pound shark was recently spotted off the coast of North Carolina. The shark, named Gladee, is tagged and constantly tracked by a site tracking organization called Ocearch. Glade is an 8-foot 8-inch long female white shark weighing 396 pounds. Ocearch pinged her Sunday night around the North Carolina and Virginia border. The shark also made an appearance along the North Carolina coast this spring.
