This weekend the first, and currently only, infrared yoga studio in South Charlotte opens at Blakeney Shopping Center. Atha Yoga will celebrate with a grand opening this Saturday, September 25th from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. You can find Atha Yoga upstairs in Blakeney above White House Black Market. Infrared yoga features heaters that mimic the sun.

The grand opening celebration will include live music, mimosas, healthy bites, back rubs, wellness treats, gift bags, and raffles. Raffle prizes include yoga apparel and gear from Lululemon and others, along with the grand prize drawing of unlimited yoga at the studio for one year. Make sure to take a free yoga class all weekend as well. (You had me at free yoga!) Plus, what celebration is complete without lots of deals?!  Those who sign up this weekend can take advantage of the Grand Opening Special 30 for 30 (30 days of unlimited yoga for $30), 20% off class packages, and $109 per month unlimited membership with a one-year commitment.

Atha Yoga was founded by Dr. Olga Dadalko after a decade-long journey of practicing, teaching, and researching yoga. She maintains that the transformational power of yoga originates from exercising the nervous system. Therefore Atha Yoga emphasizes mindfulness first and foremost. Their mission is to create a nourishing and vibrant community of students and teachers that will empower each other through kindness, acceptance, and the practice of yoga.
