Bojangles Fast-Food Chain Closes Stores For Two Days To Give Employees A Break
With the pandemic still in full force, a lot of us are depending on fast food restaurants for dining. In fact, the business has been so steady at fast food restaurant chain Bojangles, they are actually closing their stores for two days to give staff a break.
All company-owned stores will close on two Mondays – August 30 and September 13 to allow its staff members and managers time off. Bojangles CEO Jose Armario says the widespread labor shortages have put more stress on employees who’ve worked really hard through the pandemic.
Armario says they recognize their staff members are physically and emotionally drained so hope the two extra days off will help.
Because of the rapid spread of the coronavirus around the country, some restaurant owners have started seeing slow sales, no-shows, nervous guests, and issues with the supply chain. Armario is optimistic customers will visit once the stores are open. Stores will be in operation Tuesday through Sunday.
