With COVID-19 cases spiking across the country, so is the demand for more workers. If you're looking for employment, below are a few big shops looking to hire.

FedEX

The shipping giant is set to hire 1,600 new employees — full and part-time positions at ground stations in Charlotte. The new position is for package handlers who will load and unload packages. Job benefits include competitive wages with day, night and weekend shifts available; benefits; paid parental leave and employee discounts on purchases, such as cell phone service, groceries and car purchases.

Spectrum

If you're into sales, Spectrum needs you as a representative at its Charlotte call center. Representatives handle calls from existing customers with Spectrum Internet®, TV, Mobile and Voice services from across the company’s 41-state service area.

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools - Bus Driver

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools (CMS) has nearly 950 school buses back on the road, but the district is in dire need of more bus drivers. Currently, 90 bus driver positions are open. CMS is offering a $1,000 recruitment and retention incentive for those looking to become bus drivers for the district.
