DaBaby Says He’s Switching To R&B After Being ‘Cancelled’
MIAMI GARDENS, FLORIDA - JULY 25: DaBaby performs on stage during Rolling Loud at Hard Rock Stadium on July 25, 2021 in Miami Gardens, Florida.
DaBaby might be switching genres following the scandal from his Rolling Loud performance. The “Rockstar” rapper posted a new video to his Instagram holding his baby girl stating that he might be using his voice for the smooth sounds of R&B in the future.
“They done canceled yo daddy twin,” he wrote in his caption.
“I’m switching to R&B. F— a rap,” he said singing a rendition of J. Cole and Miguel’s “Power Trip.”
In the clip, the 29-year-old briefly discusses how everyone cancelled him after his homophobic remarks during his performance and left him out of the line-up for Lollapalooza, Austin City Limits, and Governors Ball.
Would you be down for an R&B DaBaby?
