Mecklenburg County Offering Free Fans For Seniors To Beat The Summer Heat
There is a heatwave affecting most of the southeast with high’s in the 90’s. But, Mecklenburg Park and Recreation is helping Mecklenburg County seniors and adults stay cool.
Those in Mecklenburg County who receive disability income can get free box fans. The county is offering the fans at seven locations listed below. To get your free fan, call the location closest to you or pre-register online for a date and time to pick up a fan. Walk-ups will not be allowed.
