This Insect Is Coming To The US By The Billions
Millions of cicadas bugs are headed to the United States. They are also known as Brood X. Scientists consider their arrival as one of the world’s natural wonders.
That’s because cicadas only come around once every 17 years. They are arriving in the U.S. by the billions and look like beetles with wings and red bulging eyes. Insect experts say they come to do three things: mate, lay eggs and die.
The good news is they are NOT harmful. In fact, they are edible. Some say they taste like shrimp if seasoned properly. YUCK! I’ll pass. No bugs for me.
