You’re Invited To A Shred-it Party
Shredding your important documents has become our new normal. To save yourself a headache, shred those important documents before scammers dumpster dive. Register for the 6th annual Shred-it Party here. JP Financial Services, LLC is sponsoring this event and they’re making it fun to Shred-it with us on May 22, 2020 from 10am to 1pm. This event is supporting 2 local non-profits that do great work in the community, both The Charlotte Post Foundation and FACET INC Services in Charlotte, North Carolina. 6th annual Shred it event FREE to the community, but please consider making a donation in kind as you roll through the line on Saturday from 10am to 1pm. Joyce Palmer is the President of JP Financial Group LLC and board member for both non-profits: The Charlotte Post Foundation and FACET Services. Joyce is also the creator of The Proactive Women’s Podcast. Gerald O. Johnson is the CEO & Publisher or The Charlotte Post Publishing Company and brainchild of the Charlotte Post Foundation.

FACET Services – Faith In Action Community and Educational Transition (FACET) Services, Inc., is a faith based 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, focused on assisting homeless women, and those at risk for becoming homeless in the Charlotte community, transition from homelessness to a life of fulfillment and liberation. Juliette Wilson’s love for people and human kind led her to found the Legend’s Luncheon in in March of 2008. The outreach ministry focuses on women transitioning out of the Center of Hope, the Salvation Army’s Women’s Homeless Shelter. Also supports women who are transitioning out of the YWCA’s Families Together Program and the Harvest Center of Charlotte.
The Charlotte Post Foundation creates life-changing educational opportunities for African American youth with three components. Convening the community with the proper expertise and resources to discuss issues negatively impacting the African American community and help seek solutions that will have positive impact in those areas of healthcare, education, crime and economic equity. Applying skills, knowledge and research to assist African American youth with their early educational development. Awarding college scholarships to eligible African American seniors in Mecklenburg and Wake Counties, who aspire to further their quest for a quality education.
