Weekdays 3:00PM-7:00PM

In celebration of Women’s History Month, your uncle is on the lookout for events in the Queen city that are honoring women for their achievements and impact on the world (you know we can’t do it without ya’ll). The first event I want to highlight is the “Black Women Unite Empowerment & Fashion Show” event that’s going down Saturday, March 27th at Lincoln Heights Park (1819 Catherine-Simmons Ave).

Created by the United Council for Change, The Black Women’s Unite event will be celebrating and promoting women’s empowerment. Hosting family activities, local vendors, guest speakers, food trucks, kids fashion shows, and many more activities you don’t want to miss. The event starts at 3pm and goes on till 5 pm, click here for more event info and keep a lookout for more women featured events for Women’s History Month right here on the V101.9 website. If you are hosting a woman inspired event, or know of one, message your uncle on my Twitter or Instagram account to speak about it in my next article. Salud!
