By now, most of us have heard about the infamous 'Gorilla Glue Girl'. The 40 year old woman from Louisiana who sprayed Gorilla Glue adhesive spray on her hair to keep in place. Tessica Brown went to TikTok for advice on how to get the glue out. She'd had the glue in her hair for more than a month and was desperate to be free of it.

Now, thanks to a Beverly Hills plastic surgeon, she is now free of the glue. TMZ reports the surgeon spent four hours today (February 11) removing the adhesive. And that Dr. Michael Obeng did the procedure at no cost to Brown. (photo courtesy of Tessica Brown IG)

After surgery, TMZ says Brown was able to actually feel her scalp and run her fingers through her hair.

What did the plastic surgeon use to remove the Gorilla Glue spray? Obeng says it was a mix of medical-grade adhesive remover, acetone and natural solutions like aloe vera and olive oil. Obeng says Brown was lucky she did NOT sustain a lot of scalp injury. He says the surgery went well.

As for the makers of Gorilla Glue, they apologized to Brown that she had to endure such an ordeal. And further warned their adhesive spray is ONLY for arts, crafts, repairs on objects, etc. And that it SHOULD NOT be used near the eyes or on skin.
