Celebrating our Black Leaders: Greear Webb is an influential, young leader not afraid of being the “first” to take on a challenge in the interest of positive change. He is a dedicated organizer committed to lessening North Carolina’s racial divide. Greear Webb is currently a sophomore Morehead-Cain Scholar at UNC-Chapel Hill and the Co-Founder of the NC Town Hall and Young Americans Protest—Two youth-led nonprofits amplifying the political concerns of young people.
He is a committed student striving for progress in gun violence prevention and police accountability legislation. Greear Webb was recently appointed to the City of Raleigh’s Police Advisory Board, and Governor Roy Cooper’s Statewide Crime Commission.
