I grew up in New Jersey and the gambling atmosphere was a big part of our lives. Living so close to Atlantic City, we enjoyed family trips to the casino restaurants, shows and once I turned 21 the slots!
Now, living in North Carolina the casino isn't right around the corner. But there is hope! North Carolina and the Catawba tribe have reached an agreement for a casino close to the Charlotte area. This has been in the works for a while now but the project is not one step closer to becoming a reality.
