North Carolina Nurses Send Letter To Governor
It’s not surprising that the North Carolina Nurses Association (NCNA) sent an open letter to Governor Roy Cooper, asking for stronger restrictions in the face of rapidly rising coronavirus cases across the state, today. Bottom line, nurses need help as well as other healthcare workers. Nurses are seeing patients flooding their facilities needing help, and the letter explains that while nurses understand and appreciate the economic pressures facing Governor Cooper, current restrictions have not been sufficient. Why, because COVID-19 continues to spread at an alarming rate and the amount of non-compliance with current protocols demands more forceful restrictions.
