Thanksgiving Countdown Series
Everywhere you look, it seems someone is complaining about something. The weather, the time at work, a neighbor, family or friends. I would be the first person to tell you I can understand. I myself have been vocal about things I dislike, but I try to catch myself because I could use that perfectly good energy in other parts of my life. We even go as far as to post on social media things we disdain. But this week let’s make it our duty to spread some positive energy, not just amongst friends and family, but even on social media.
I don’t know about you but, being around a lot of complaining is contagious and detrimental to our mental state, physically and of course emotionally draining. Who wants to be around that all day? I can understand that sometimes in life, things go awry and people cope with things differently depending on the person. However, no matter how hard things may be in your life, just know that there is always someone whose situation is worse than yours, and in some cases, really, really, bad. Learn not only the value of enjoying the journey of life, but embracing the things that this life has afforded you to have that are positive. So lets all be thankful regardless of what chapter we are in our life, because truthfully it really could be a lot worse AND that my friend is something to be thankful for.
