Football Monday Update
Yesterday our beloved Carolina Panthers suffered a blowout loss on their home field to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The game appeared to be favorable from the onset, as the Panthers took an early lead on a touchdown pass from Bridgewater to DJ Moore. However, after giving up 14 points early, the Buccaneers went on a tear. Tom Brady led a comeback, that was capped off by a ninety eight yard run by Buccaneers running back Ronald Jones, that broke the Panthers spirit.
Although the expectations this year were not high, we didn’t see this coming. The Panthers do not give up 46 points on their homefield, even when it’s against Tom Brady. To add insult to injury Quarterback Teddy Bridgewater left the game in the fourth quarter with an apparent knee injury. With the team already playing without their best player Christian McCaffery for most of the season, this is the LAST THING the Panthers need. There is good news according to sources from the Panthers camp. The injury of Bridgewater’s knee is not expected to sideline the Panthers starter for any significant amount of time. With the Lions up next, the Panthers still have a mathematical chance to make the playoffs. KEEP POUNDING!
