Suit Up Charlotte Non-profit presents the “Fly Tie” project To Help those In Foster Care
Suit Up Charlotte is a faith based 501(c) 3 non-profit organization. We serve and suit up men exclusively both inside and out. Our focus is placed on the development and sustainability of men, their healthy relationships and families!
SUIT UP CHARLOTTE PRESENTS
THE FLY TIE PROJECT
Each year during Suit Up Charlotte’s Annual Holiday Fundraiser, we “spotlight” a targeted group of men amongst the population we serve. We have had the privilege of serving young men who have aged out of foster care along with gentlemen from the NextGen program.
The safety net known as home or the transitions of young men shifting from foster homes to group homes, to halfway houses, to psych wards, to homelessness or to jail after they have aged out of foster care, is why they are our primary focus!
Suit Up Charlotte has chosen to “spotlight” Ron and Shyun and a portion of the proceeds from this project will be used to impact their lives directly.
The Fly Tie Project is a virtual event that has just begun and will last through November 22nd.
WHAT WE DO
Suit Up Charlotte partners with non-profit groups, government agencies, veteran organizations, homeless shelters and job training programs from every ethnic background in Charlotte and surrounding areas.
HOW YOUR PARTICIPATION WOULD HELP
Your Participation Will Help Us With Serving men, aged out foster care youth and young men in the NextGen program, exclusively, as they prepare to enter or re-enter the workforce, by suiting them up and helping them make a great first impression. Also, by continuing to create professional development workshops, we assist them during their transformation process. Ultimately, we empower men in transition by providing a network of support, such as veteran services via NC Serves-Metrolina, tools and other resources.
