This has been a Presidential election to watch! More people than ever have voted early in the U.S. Many of them braving chilly temperatures and long lines to cast their ballot. Several food brands are hopping in on the action by offering Election Day freebies and deals.

Here are a few listed. As a sidenote, some of the 'deals' may require using an app. It may be a good idea to visit their website or phone for any specifics.

JERSEY MIKE'S SUBS

As part of National Sandwich Day (Nov. 3), the popular sub chain is offering $2 off any regular sub Nov. 3 through Nov. 6 using their app with the code SANDDAY2OFF.

McDONALD'S 

From Nov. 3  through Nov. 9, get new pastry items for free with the purchase of a hot or iced coffee through their app. Customers get to choose either new an apple fritter, blueberry muffin or cinnamon roll.

SUBWAY

DUNKIN DONUTS

Beginning Wednesday, Nov.4  and future Wednesdays through Dec. 23, members of the chain's DD Perks loyalty program can get a free medium hot or iced coffee during Free Coffee Wednesdays at participating locations.
