The Skinny Bill
Do you believe that some, and not all prisoners deserve a second chance? Well, some crimes are so appalling that it makes you shake your head. During this time when corona has decimated our economy and families across this nation are suffering, waiting on the government to sign the Heroes Act.
The Government has stepped up with numerous resources to help those affected financially by this virus, but it’s NOT enough because folks are hungry, folks are almost homeless. You might have heard about talks between Pelosi and Mnuchin strive for a much larger package and chances of a bill being approved before election day are probably not going to happen. Maybe if and when Supreme Court nominee Judge Amy Coney Barrett sinks her heels into the ground, maybe they’ll plan stimulus checks before Christmas.
However, many have been devastated by the news that their unemployment claims have been denied or placed on hold, only adding to the stress. That brings us to a rapper who goes by the name of Nuke Bizzle. This wrapper was approved for multiple claims, under fake names and addresses and received 92 EDD debit cards worth 1.2 million dollars in CASH BENEFITS! It gets worse. He then proceeds to rap about his crime in a rap video, explaining how he pulled it off. I’m all for second chances, but dam! Nuke Bizzle was just arrested in Vegas last week, so just maybe now that money can go to families that really need it. His next song should be “It’s better to be thought of as a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt”.
