2022 Grant Process for Nonprofits
This year Mecklenburg County will provide Community Service Grants (CSG) to fund nonprofits that contribute to the community. Are you one of those awesome organizations? Mecklenburg County will hold an information session for nonprofits to learn how the County’s application process works and how nonprofits can apply for a grant. If you’re still interested, here’s some info: The session will be held virtually via WebEx Thursday, Oct. 29, 2020 at 3 p.m. Those interested can attend the meeting by joining online at this link or register by phone at 408-418-9388 (access code: 173-195-7520).
Okay nonprofits, you can apply for Fiscal Year 2022 Community Service Grants from Oct. 29 to Dec. 4, 2020. All applicants must have current 501(c)(3) nonprofit status, submit audited financial statements, serve the residents of Mecklenburg County, and apply under one of the four goal areas that reflect the County’s strategic priorities: Connected Community, Economic Opportunities, Healthy Community, and Safe Community. The grant award funding period is from July 1, 2021 through June 30, 2022. Any nonprofit program that has received funding for three consecutive fiscal years (FY2019-FY2020-FY2021) will be sunset from the program with consideration for a vendor relationship with the County in FY2022; if selected as a vendor, the program will no longer compete in the CSG process.
Funding for FY2022 is not guaranteed. For more information email [email protected] and cc [email protected].
