He is the wealthiest American musician in the entertainment industry and the fifth wealthiest African American musician. That is according to Forbes magazine who classified Jay-Z officially as a billionaire last year. And it’s not just music where he reaps his dough.
I once heard any millionaire or billionaire in Jay-Z’s case, has at least seven businesses. That sounds about right as Jay-Z owns clothing with Rocawear, a sports bar chain 40/40 Club, an entertainment company Roc Nation and you can’t forget about his media streaming service Tidal. And the list goes on.
Oh, and you can’t forget he’s married to one of the most known and respected R&B singers in the world – Beyonce.
With all this success, what is his secret? Jay-Z offered The Source magazine his ‘Top 10 Rules for Success’!
- Be the best
