NFL Draft Will Be 100% Virtual
Never in my life did I think I would see this…
Because of the coronavirus pandemic, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell has told owners to prepare for this year’s draft to be done in a “totally virtual format.” The memo that Goddell sent out to teams comes shortly after this year’s NFL Draft in Las Vegas had to be called off because of the coronavirus pandemic.
“We are operating in an environment unlike anything we have experienced before,” Goodell said in the memo to teams. The draft, which many call the “unofficial start to the season,” begins Thursday, April 23 at 8 p.m. Some of these Tweets below sound like some fans are not so happy about this decision…

NFL commissioner Roger Goodell just informed clubs in a memo that club facilities will remain closed indefinitely and the league will conduct a “fully virtual” draft, with club personnel separately located in their homes. pic.twitter.com/28t2kNnLAI

2020 NFL Draft is 100 virtual. I predict that the @Patriots will find a way to cheat the system better than everyone else #patriotswillhackzoom #lionswillhaveapoweroutage and #thenflwillhelpthepackers @Lions @packers Go Lions Go

To be honest - I don't trust the NFL to be prepared enough and to bring in the correct professionals to make sure the Virtual Draft doesn't get hacked. Its an open invitation lol
