JD The Diva Joins Virtual Walk MS, May 9th
You may know by now, that I was diagnosed with MS in 2012. And while there’s no cure for this autoimmune disease, there have been many breakthroughs in research that have allowed people like me to live a normal life. And for those with a more progressive level of the disease, better treatment is on the rise to boost their quality of life as well.
With all that said, I’m excited about the annual MS Walk that will for the first time, be Virtual Walk MS. Like so many businesses and organizations, normal operations are having to change due to the coronavirus. The National MS Society is no exception and has decided to continue with its walk, but instead, the walk will be a virtual one!
The Virtual Walk MS is Saturday, May 9, 2020. As mentioned, we will NOT be face-to-face. It will be a Virtual walk. You and your small group of family or friends (no more than 10) can connect in your home, outside OR we highly encourage group chats on your mobile using a social media platform.
