Panthers Looking At Trading Cam Newton
The bad news just keeps coming in. According to ESPN, the Panthers have agreed to let Cam Newton pursue a trade.
Cam’s future with the team has been highly debated for months, however, incoming Coach Matt Rule has publicly stated he would like to coach Cam.
The Carolina Panthers have given QB Cam Newton the opportunity to seek a trade.

Newton is still owed over $19 million from his current contract and has had issues staying healthy the past few years, but there will most likely still be interested teams out there. This isn’t a final goodbye and Cam could still end up in a Panthers uniform come August, however, it still hurts.
Cam Newton is scheduled to earn $19.1 million in 2020, the final year of his contract, and it's not guaranteed. If he's healthy, he's a steal for someone. Problem is... How do you find out if he's healthy if you can't bring him in?
