The deadly coronavirus has afflicted another person in the United States. In case you're wondering, the coronaviruses seem to be a family of viruses that cause infections in the respiratory system. Presently there are seven known coronaviruses, including the newly identified 2019-nCoV.

Also, SARS which stands for (Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome) was the culprit coronavirus behind a deadly outbreak that happened from 2002 to 2003 that infected over 8,000 people and presumably killed 774 people.

Now a Chicago woman age 60 has it after returning mid-January from Wuhan in China, which is the epicenter of this deadly outbreak. She started experiencing symptoms a few days after arriving back in Chicago. To learn more about coronavirus visit the CDC website.
