Acosta Heating & Cooling “Shares the Warmth” for the Holidays to Deserving Families
They installed a brand new furnace to 2 families in true need.
V 1019 asked listeners to nominate a deserving person in need of heat for the holidays. The responses were numerous and meaningful, but only two families were chosen randomly.
Ms. Tasmin Carter of Charlotte is a single Mom with stage 3 colon cancer. She has not been able to work due to severe treatment. Her 22-year-old system was being held together with duct tape and prayer. With no way to afford a new furnace, receiving this new furnace was truly an answer to prayer for her. Tasmin and her children will be warm all winter.
Clara McGrier is an 81-year-old widower on a fixed income. She has diabetes, high blood pressure, stage 4 renal kidney failure, and back in September, she suffered from a stroke. Her ac/heating unit has been out for at least 6 months. Clara can now look forward to a warm, comfortable home this winter.
