Charlotte Family Goes Viral For Their “Real Life” Christmas Cards
Six years ago, the Stanleys from here in Charlotte, decided to give up on the traditional Christmas card photo and went for a “real life” photo. Not only were the results hilarious, but their family and friends also loved the cards!
At the time, the Stanleys were new parents and their baby cried the whole time during the photoshoot. Jonathan Stanley told Bored Panda. “We were new parents with a one-year-old and everything went wrong – baby cried the whole time, it was windy, the lighting kept changing, you name it. We laughed so hard at how bad the photos were that we decided just to send them out as-is and our family loved it. From there the tradition was born – instead of trying to send perfect cards, we would send something that represented the chaos of parenting.”
The Stanleys now have three kids and the cards get more hilarious as the years go on! They even include the family dog in the pictures. Of course, setting up these “real life” shots isn’t easy, but the results are so worth it! These folks are who you WANT to get a Christmas card from….just to see what they’ve come up with.
