I interviewed Jefferies a few years ago because she's the first African American Female, Black Hawk Pilot in the North Carolina Army National Guard. We honored LT. Lindsey Jefferies during the Cafe Mocha event this past Friday for the Salute Her Awards at the Mint Museum in Charlotte, North Carolina.
We also saluted Mayor Vi Lyles!!!! The sweet and charming founder Juliette Wilson with F.A.C.E.T., and the amazing and brave Bree Newsome Bass, along with NASCAR Team owner Melissa Harville-Lebron, Amani Council and Dimple Tansen Ajmera.
