Mac Miller’s Drug Dealer Charged in Connection With His Death
It’s been a year since rapper Mac Miller passed away and now his alleged dealer is being charged in connection to his death.
The gossip site TMZ is reporting that Cameron James Pettit is in trouble with the feds for apparently supplying the rapper with counterfeit oxycodone pills. The Percocet pills Miller took contained fentanyl.
“Two days before his death on September 7, Mac received two deliveries of drugs – one from Pettit, who allegedly supplied the fentanyl-laced oxy pills, cocaine and Xanax – and another from a prostitute, who allegedly gave him pure oxy, hydrocodone, amphetamine, Xanax and coke on top of what Pettit had dropped off,” TMZ explains.
Prosecutors are also saying that Pettit DM-ed friends about Miller’s death on Instagram and told them that he wasn’t going to respond after the death “just to be smart.” He allegedly also wrote, “I am not great… most likely I will die in jail.”
Pettit is one of three dealers who supplied Mac Miller with counterfeit drugs. It is unknown if the others have been charged.
