Ferguson, Missouri is marking the 5th anniversary of the death of Michael Brown Jr. this morning.

Brown’s death led to months of protests and drew attention to police practices nationwide.

Now, his father says he wants the case re-opened.

Brown, who is black, was unarmed when he was shot and killed by Darren Wilson, a white police officer, in 2014, sparking national protests over police brutality and marking the beginning of the Black Lives Matter movement.
