Some of the most beautiful people in history have had the gap - as in a tooth gap.

You know  50 Shades Of Grey actress, Dakota Johnson, closed the gap in her teeth and people were in an uproar about it. Now, I'm all for fixing things that cause complications, but I believe it's all in how you look at it. If you can turn a perceived flaw into a signature look then that's a real Diva move!

Did you know that gap teeth have mega meanings in the world. In the Caribbean culture, gap teeth symbolize beauty and luck; West Africa's citizens view a gap tooth as a sign of wealth. Apparently, back in the day in parts of Arabia, women would chip their teeth on purpose to get a gap – because that was seen as beauty.

Some of our favorite celebrities have gap teeth: Michael Strahan, Slick Woods, Eddie Murphy, Anthony AndersonNiecy Nash; and the list goes on. My own intern even has a gap that I never really noticed. She says she has no idea where it comes from because no one else in her family has one.
