Are you fit to serve God? Set boundaries and priorities to become fit to serve God. God needs the whole you. You need to be physically, mentally and spiritually fit. Eat right, exercise regularly. Be careful as to what you allow to enter your mind. Spend time with God. Choose to be pure and fit to serve God.
2 Timothy 2: 20-22 “In a large house there are articles not only of gold and silver, but also of wood and clay; some are for noble purposes and some for ignoble. If a man cleanses himself from the latter, he will be an instrument for noble purposes, made holy, useful to the Master and prepared to do any good work. Flee the evil desires of youth, and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.”
Is your heart in a place where God can dwell? Do you find yourself wrapped up with things of the world that you don’t have space enough for God? Do a quick check. You may be in need of some “Heart cleaning”? Purge some things. Make room for God to dwell in your heart.
Hebrews 10:22 “Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, with our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water.”
