Patti LaBelle Announces New Frozen Soul Food Line At Wal-Mart

Patti LaBelle is expanding her frozen foods empire.

The iconic singer will be bringing a new line of soul food to Wal-mart, reports Blavity.

The "If Only You Knew" singer recently announced that she was partnering with the multinational retail behemoth to sell a frozen soul food line that the singer believes is one of the first to be widely available.

“Coming soon to a Wal-mart near you, you’ll have my savory foods. There will be nine skus, foods like macaroni and cheese. It’s greens, it’s brisket, it’s chicken and biscuits, and five more I can’t think of them,” LaBelle said.

The new soul food line will be in addition to LaBelle's highly successful line of pies that have sold out in Wal-marts across the country. They debuted in 2015.
