Okay, my 'light-skinned' boo is telling it all -- well, sort of.

Rapper, actor and activist Common has just finished up his New York Times bestselling memoir One Day It’ll All Make Sense to now have another one, Let Love Have The Last Word.

Common has given us some conscious classics over the years. In the early 2000's, he famously dated and collaborated with neo-soul singer Erykah Badu, on hit singles “The Light” and “Love of My Life". In 'Let Love Have The Last Word', Common opens up about childhood trauma, romantic ups and downs, and his dive into therapy.

Everyone's healing from something these days and it seems Common is ready to leave it all on the table in his brand-new memoir, which was released Tuesday (May 7).

The book cover resembles Michelle Obama's 'Becoming' a little bit doesn't it? May be a Chi-town thing.
