Teyana Taylor dedicated her Dreamville Festival performance to Nipsey Hussle and Lauren London.
Over the weekend, the R&B singer and model performed her single “Gonna Love Me,” and before she started the performance she dedicated it to Lauren London and her slain boyfriend Los Angeles rapper Nipsey Hussle.
“I can’t begin to imagine the pain and heartache. Lauren, I love you so much. I wanna dedicate this song to you and Nip,” Taylor said before singing.
Taylor also shared a video of herself on Instagram arriving at Dreamville Fest rocking a blue hat that she refers to as “Nip blue”.
“F*** THEY THOUGHT NIP?!! The Marathon continues! Swipe to see how we got down and dirty for Nip 1 & 3 ????: @shootmadonna we love you @nipseyhussle & @laurenlondon,” she wrote as a caption.
Taylor has made a few other posts that were also dedicated to Nipsey Hussle.
Nipsey Hussle was fatally shot six times in the head and torso on Mar. 31 outside of his apparel store Marathon Clothing in South Los Angeles.
This Thursday (Apr. 11), a memorial service will be held at the Staples Center in Los Angeles for Nipsey Hussle. Nipsey Hussle was survived by his two children, Emani and Kross, and his girlfriend, Lauren London.
