Meanwhile, Butler High School was also supposed to have a makeup day Tuesday, for a missed day in October after one student fatally shot another. But CMS now says the school will not be in session Tuesday, and a future makeup day will be scheduled.

CMS says that the future makeup day will allow students, staff and parents to join a teach-in and other special events  “to lift up the strength of the Butler community.”
