If you're a jazz enthusiast, you probably are already familiar with The Baylor Project...but if not, here's a quick rundown on who they are. They will be in the Queen City Saturday, November 17th at Spirit Square.

The Baylor Project is an American jazz duo from New York City. Its members are husband and wife Marcus and Jean Baylor.

Marcus Baylor is from St. Louis, Missouri and was previously the drummer for The Yellowjackets. And you probably know Jean Baylor, but know her better as the previous member of R&B group Zhané.

They've already picked up a Grammy for Best Traditional R&B Performance.

And I hear they give one heck of a performance, blending their unique talents together to bring jazz music, soul, R&B and gospel. They are currently touring the U.S. and Charlotte is luck to have them.
