I got a phone call this morning from my bestie from college. She and I were roommates at A&T...and both deemed that the best time of our lives. Anyway, we were talking about life and how God moves in it.

We both have been through similar struggles with work...she was working part-time trying to make it work and I was too at one point. Talking to her and reminiscing, I shared with her one time during my struggle a few years ago, my lights went out.

I was home one evening, it was still light out and I heard this big 'clunk up' sound. And then no power. I thought, somebody just crashed into a utility pole. I called Duke Energy and got that recording that said 'there are no power outages in your area.' I was like "What?" Then I pressed another option and it said "Your power has been disconnected..please pay the balance of ___ by ___ to get power restored."
