Janine Davis iPhoneI was driving down my parking deck when today I noticed one of the cars in the deck. Now, granted, I have several neighbors who drive really nice cars but this one always stands out. And especially today it did. It's a black on black porsche - now, don't ask me which kind of porsche it was, but know it was a porsche. Nice, too.
Today, the porsche was wrapped in a cover. I get it - to protect it from any debri and potential damage that might happen to it as a result of Hurricane Florence. For the times I've seen it unwrapped, whoever owns it, keeps it really, really clean. I mean the wax is always glistening, the tires and rims are poppin. It's nice.
But today, when I saw it wrapped it struck me in a different way. The owner goes out of his way to keep his porsche protected. He makes sure it's shielded. Then I thought how much do we protect ourselves - and by that I mean our spirit, our emotions, our heart. Then I heard God say 'Know your worth.'
