Remember last week when I told you about a conversation me and my longtime friend and co-worker Tone X told me to look in the mirror the next time I ask God the question "How am I gonna do all that He has me doing?" (Girl Talk and radio life). Well, you know I've been contemplating that and looking for that 'thing' God has placed in me. I have to be honest and say I was feelin' some kind of way about it - meaning confusing, self-doubt, sad, frustrated, perplexed and stressed!!!

Just when I was feeling down, I got a pleasant surprise in the mail. I received this unusual envelope that was made out of brown, cardboard like paper. I immediately noticed the handwriting as being really neat and legible.

I opened it...and it was a note I had written to myself!!! And it said "Dear Janine, Remember you deserve to be happy! Start to do the things that bring you joy!"
