Alessia Cara Gives US Her Birthday Present?!

Alessia Cara is 22 years young today! This young, empowering artist has given us so much in such a short amount of time in the spotlight. The giving didn't stop, even on her own birthday!

Just yesterday, Alessia Cara posted an announcement on Instagram, saying that she would be releasing her new song, "A Little More", the moment her birthday began.

Let's backtrack here... most of us probably remember Alessia's first hit, "Here" from 2015.

Or the hit that followed shortly after, "Wild Things"

But she really got us hooked on her song from the Moana soundtrack, "How Far I'll Go". Who knew we could get so hype for a new Disney song??

Alessia has released top Billboard Hot 100 Hits like "Scars to Your Beautiful", "Stay", and is featured in Logic's, "1-800-273-8255".

More recently, Alessia Cara released another hit, "Growing Pains" this summer.

Alessia Cara was named the Best New Artist at the 2018 Grammy Awards. What a way to start off her 22nd year! We cannot wait to see what else Alessia Cara has in store for us.
